Interior Design

This course has been created to complete and update the educational offer of the Fine Arts and Design Faculty. The architectural market increasingly needs interior designers who are familiar with issues related to shape and character of space and rooms in which average people have to live in. Interior designing is a subject strictly related to graphics and knowledge of the two will enable graduates to shape and modify the closest environment humans are surrounded by.

Subjects included in the course offer both the theoretical and the practical preparation necessary for shaping the students’ artistic sensitivity and creativity and give them practical skills in order to deal with the technical applications and tools such as ArchiCAD, 3DMax, Adobe Photoshop, or Corel.

The syllabus of the course contains a group of arts subjects (drawing, painting, sculpture, photography) and the humanities subjects (history of architecture, philosophy, psychology of advertisement and marketing). Upon completion of the third semester students can choose one of the two specializations:

  • Interior Design
  • Furniture Design

DIPLOMA – consists of a design project and a theoretical thesis which relates to the practical aspects of the project work.
